How did you get involved with Steele Benefits? I got involved through the Orr Fellowship. Steele is a partner company of the fellowship. I really enjoyed chatting with the leadership team. I identified with Steele’s mission of helping America’s families.

How would you describe your role? I help CSMs in supporting our customers. I may work on communication pieces, case testing, or whatever else they might need. I do a lot of behind-the-scenes work.

Are there any new skills or insights you have picked up while working at Steele? Yes! So many new skills. A couple of main ones would be learning more about Acrobat and learning more about Excel.

What kind of hobbies do you have? I like cooking and baking and reading.

If you had a warning label, what would yours say? Talks a lot.

What celebrity would you like to meet at Starbucks for a cup of coffee? I would love to meet Taylor Swift. I know all her songs, I am a Swiftie (Taylor Swift Mega-fan) for sure. I love her music and she is an amazing songwriter. She is a positive role model; she is motivated and shows women all around the world how to be strong and successful.

What is the most daring thing you have ever done? Going to IU. My hometown is small and many of my classmates did not leave for college or go to a big university.

If you could have a superpower, what would it be? Not flying- I hate heights, so definitely no to that. Being able to read people’s minds.

Do you have a favorite book? Why? It Ends with Us by Colleen Hoover. It is a heart breaking love story that will dig your claws in you. It is an emotional read that will leave an impact on you.

What would you sing at Karaoke night? I would sing, Wannabe by the Spice Girls. Growing up we had the American Idol Wii game, and it had that song on it. My best friend and I would sing it all the time and it quickly became our favorite song to do Karaoke too.

What is your favorite holiday? Christmas. I really like it because it reminds me of giving. I love spending time with family and all the traditions we have.
