Why did you choose Steele? I have a background in HR management and customer service. I really enjoyed chatting with the team, and I connected with their mission.
Why Do you stay? I stay for the people. We have a great team. They are always willing to help, and I think that’s important in any work environment. We show up for each other.
How has your role evolved since then? I have transitioned from a Customer Success Specialist to a Customer Success Manager. This role is more client-facing. I initially did more behind-the-scenes work, helping with communication, reporting, and billing. Now, I direct the customers’ needs to technology or the department they need. I do a lot more problem-solving and come up with creative solutions so our customers’ needs are met.
What does a typical workday for you look like? I check my email first every morning and respond to clients and the internal team. I have meetings internally and with clients, brokers, carriers, etc. Other than this, every day looks very different. I run reports, audit cases, train customers on Selerix, plan for Open Enrollment, and help solve complex issues as they come up.
How would you describe your role in one sentence? Enhancing the employee enrollment experience and the customer ben admin experience.

Outside of work, what kind of hobbies do you have? Doing hair, working out, traveling, and trying new restaurants.
What’s an interesting fact not many people know about you? I have a bucket list, and I do one thing off it every year. I went skydiving for my 21st birthday. Other things on the list are hiking the Manitou Incline in Colorado, visiting Jamaica, and doing the Hot Ones Challenge.
