In Steele’s 20th year in business, IBJ has named Steele one of the 25 fastest growing companies in the Indianapolis area.

“We expect another year of great growth in 2020,” said Steele “COVID-19 is impacting our business, but so far we’ve been able to maintain positive momentum. We currently have open positions and our plan is to continue adding the right talent to the team.”
The growth outlook for 2021 and beyond is also bright. Steele is offering customers a new employee engagement solution that helps employers keep engaged with their workers. Among the capabilities: enabling text message communication between employers and their workers at key moments in an employee’s life. “Getting a happy birthday text or a congratulations on your work anniversary is going to help employees feel appreciated,” Steele said “and when employees feel appreciated, they’re more loyal to their employers and more productive in their jobs.”
Steele is also expecting growth from telephonic benefit enrollment, digital employee surveys and quizzes, virtual 1-on-1 benefit meetings, and online employee self-service enrollment services. “Data shows that engaging employees with communication is more effective than spending more money on benefits,” Steele says “so it just makes sense for employers to invest in communicating with their employees. The services we’re providing have a return-on-investment for the employer, but just as important, they help workers get the most out of their benefits package.”
